The Role: Architect of the "Advania Way" ❤️
You will be the first dedicated People & Culture leader in our Danish organization. Your mission is to balance the "Advania Way", with the local Danish spirit.
I. Cultural Integration & Strategic Growth
One Advania: Lead all of our "People" workstreams. You will ensure a seamless transition where new colleagues feel "valued and trusted" from day one, merging different backgrounds into a unified team.
Empowered Leadership: Implement our leadership principles (Trust, Action, Growth). You will coach our managers to move from technical experts to people-centric leaders who lead through curiosity and feedback.
The Employee Journey: Use data (such as our Gallup employee surveys) to turn insights into action, focusing on employee recognition, personal development, and psychological safety.
II. The Operational Engine Room
While we have people at heart, we also have "operational excellence" in our hands. You will take full ownership of the practical HR infrastructure:
Lifecycle Management: Professionalize everything from value-based recruitment to offboarding.
Contractual Governance: Ensure absolute compliance with Danish labor law (Ferieloven), GDPR, and our APV (Workplace Assessment) requirements.
Strategic Compensation & Benefits: Design and govern our compensation frameworks and incentive plans. You will ensure our reward structures are competitive, transparent, and aligned with our growth strategy, striking the right balance between fiscal responsibility and being an employer of choice.
Reporting Excellence: You will be responsible for bridging the gap between local insights and global strategy. This involves the dual challenge of ensuring compliance with Danish statutory reporting, while serving as the primary link to Advania Group’s reporting cycles.
Workplace Health & Safety: Lead our physical and mental health initiatives to ensure a safe, thriving environment. You will be responsible for translating statutory safety requirements into proactive well-being programs, ensuring our workspace reflects our commitment to both physical safety and long-term vitality.
Internalizing Excellence: Evaluate our current HR arrangements and systems, and decide when and how to build further capabilities internally to increase speed and intimacy.
The Profile 🤹🏽
Educational foundation: You likely hold a relevant Master’s degree. Alternatively, you have a solid commercial background, supplemented with some professional certifications.
Professional experience: You have most likely played a leading role in an HR team, or worked as an HR manager at some point.
The Advania Mindset: You are down-to-earth, helpful, and professionally humble. You believe that authority should be decentralized and that the best decisions are made closest to the team.
The "Full-Stack" Professional: You have 5+ years of experience as an HR professional, ideally within a Danish scale-up or an international tech environment. You find it natural to move from a board-level discussion to a detailed conversation about a contract clause or the Danish Holiday Act (Ferieloven).
M&A Experience: You have a "merger-ready" mindset, knowing how to manage the anxieties and opportunities that come with bringing various different cultures together. You understand that having people at heart is most tested when two organizations merge, and you know how to build trust during that transition.
Compliance Savvy: You have a firm grip on Danish labor law, GDPR, and the practicalities of APV (Workplace Assessment) requirements.
Linguistic Skill: You possess professional fluency in Danish and English, enabling you to navigate local legalities and our international group collaboration.
